We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our team
As a UX/UI designer at KOMMUNA, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and user-friendly digital experiences for our clients. You will closely collaborate with our creative team, developers, and clients to understand user needs and deliver designs that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and effective. Your work will span various digital platforms, and you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across different industries.
Your Day-to-Day responsibilities:
- User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs and behaviors.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to visualize design concepts and user flows.
- Design Creation: Create visually compelling and user-friendly designs for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand project goals, user needs, and brand guidelines, ensuring design solutions meet or exceed expectations.
- Creative Conceptualization: Generate ideas and concepts for digital experiences, bringing creative insights and knowledge to help shape user-centric design strategies.
- Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality control.
- Software Mastery: Use industry-standard design software such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite to efficiently create and manipulate designs and prototypes. Including files and folders hand-off and naming files for proper organization.
- Adaptability: Stay updated with UX/UI design trends, technological advancements, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance the agency's creative output and stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, copywriters, and marketing strategists, to ensure seamless integration of design elements into cohesive digital experiences.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively seek and provide constructive feedback on design concepts, iterating on designs based on feedback received from users, clients, and internal stakeholders to achieve optimal results.
Your Skills:
- UX/UI Design Fundamentals:
- User-centered design principles
- Information architecture
- Interaction design
- Usability and accessibility
- Responsive & fluid design principles
- Advanced knowledge of the following design software:
- Figma
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Understanding of web technologies: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to facilitate collaboration with developers.
- Ability to work in a team
Desirable Experience/Skills:
- Knowledge of motion web design: Ability to create lottie animations in Adobe After Effects.
- Understanding of design systems and component libraries.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Wireframe and metadescriptions copywriting
